The 80th Anniversary of ANCE marked more than a milestone. It celebrated eight decades of vision, responsibility, and the people shaping Italy’s built environment. Set within the recently restored gardens of the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia, the evening brought together entrepreneurs, institutions, and leading voices from across the construction industry in a setting where history, architecture, and innovation naturally converged.

The event unfolded among Renaissance colonnades and frescoed courtyards, with a production designed to enhance the extraordinary beauty of the venue. Elegant architectural lighting highlighted the restored gardens and historic spaces, while a bespoke stage seamlessly integrated into the landscape, creating an atmosphere that felt intimate and monumental. Every detail was conceived to celebrate the dialogue between heritage and contemporary vision, reflecting ANCE’s commitment to preserving Italy’s cultural legacy. The evening also marked the announcement of the restoration of Bartolomeo Ammannati’s Renaissance Loggia, promoted by ANCE and ANCE ROMA–ACER in collaboration with the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia, reinforcing the association’s long-term commitment to protecting and enhancing Italy’s architectural heritage.

Throughout the evening, institutional figures, former Prime Ministers, ministers, academics and distinguished guests alternated on stage through live speeches and video messages, reflecting the role ANCE has played across eight decades of Italy’s political, economic and social evolution. A particularly moving moment came with Giancarlo Giannini’s tribute to entrepreneur Andrea Vecchio, followed by architect and urbanist Carlo Ratti’s inspiring reflection on the future of cities, innovation and sustainable development.

The celebration concluded with President Federica Brancaccio’s farewell address, closing four years of leadership with a message that looked firmly ahead. More than an anniversary, the evening became a tribute to a community built on passion, expertise and shared values—while reaffirming ANCE’s vision for the future of construction.
